Royate Hill Local Nature Reserve, Bristol
Royate Hill was saved from development by a high profile campaign by local people in the 1990s. It is now a haven for wildflowers, butterflies, foxes and other wildlife. This site is owned by Bristol City Council and is managed by Avon Wildlife Trust.
